Yom Hazikaron - Israel's Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and victims of acts of terrorism will start 4/13 in the evening ending 4/14 in the evening bringing in Yom Ha'Atzmaut - Israel's Independence Day.

Yom Hazikaron in Israel is a very very sad day - every family has affected been in some way in the loss of a friend or family member. 

Music is a big part of the Yom's - music and art have a huge impact on helping heal emotional wounds, lift spirits, and personal expression. We can also find commonalities to connect us through the Arts.

In Israel, the radios will only play music associated with Yom Hazikaron. On the eve of Yom Hazikaron and in the morning following the sirens will sound while citizens stop and pay respect to those lost in Israel 73 years.
